Wow! Concern Debates All Ireland Champions

The Laurel Hill Secondary School FCJ team are this year’s all-island Concern Debates winners after a great contest with Sandford Park School Union this evening in Dublin. Congrats to all students, teachers and parents involved.

We went back to school yesterday to meet with the fantastic TY class groups of 23/24 and 24/25 in Laurel Hill Secondary School FCJ who raised a fantastic total of €8,215 for 5 charities from many fundraising initiatives We were very grateful to receive a cheque of €2,205 Wonderful role models

Delighted to welcome the Concern Debates winners from Laurel Hill Secondary School FCJ at the Europa Experience Dublin! The students participated in a Q&A with our head of office, Fearghas Ó Béara, on the important work of the EPLO and the vital role of the European Parliament🇪🇺

Today our 1st Years attended a special Mass in St. John’s Cathedral, celebrated by the Bishop together with other 1st Year students from across the diocese. A big thank you to our school choir, who sang so beautifully and added to the atmosphere of the celebration.

Our 1st year hockey teams hit the pitch for their first-ever league matches against Ursuline Thurles and came away with one win and one loss — a solid start to their journey! The win showed their determination and teamwork, while the loss offered valuable lessons and experience.
