Just had a brilliant two days on the Kenyan coast with the SMAART consortium discussing severe malaria epidemiology and planning new clinical trials in adjunctive therapy! The weather helped too.

Really enjoying working on this dissemination project with Annabelle South, PhD, Kathryn Maitland and others. It's World Malaria day! I'm working with many others using clinical trials to identify the best adjunctive therapies for treatment of children with severe malaria to reduce the still high mortality and morbidity. Watch this space!
