I don't think most people realize what a crisis this is. Huge numbers of students now skate through school without doing any reading or writing. They will graduate without having learned a single thing. They will have diplomas but be completely uneducated. This is unsustainable.

Our very own chief and T32 fellow Christina Lalani knocked it out of the park with her rapid fire talk at the BIDMC CVI research retreat! She studied differences in characteristics and outcomes between Medicare Advantage and Fee-For-Service models for patients undergoing TAVR.

Just got notice the NIH grant supporting top trainees in my lab working on epigenetic reprogramming to cure diseases that needlessly disable and kill millions of americans a year has been terminated. Pointless and cruel
