KY lung cancer patient, Leah, doesn’t qualify for early detection screening, so when she was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer due to a mutation research for treatments to target her EGFR mutation became her greatest HOPE for more LIFE w/ her kids & husband! #anyonewithlungs

Thank you for shedding light on the #2 cause of lung cancer & #1 cause in those who’ve never smoked. We must better understand the role toxins & genetics play in this deadly disease to diagnose, treat, and improve survival outcomes for all patients. #anyonewithlungs

This disease may have one name but does not have just one cause! More research is needed to educate, recognize, & identify other risk factors & develop methods for early detection & diagnosis of more patients who are also at risk, regardless of smoking history. #anyonewithlungs

This is my friend Brittany who also happens to have stage IV lung cancer as a never smoker. She was born and raised in Kentucky. She has a husband and son who love here dearly. Please help spread the word.

We lift up this tribute to the RETpositive community. Their patient population may be small but their visibility is equally important. Continued research & more treatment options will help them keep LIVING with lung cancer. #YLCI #Visibility4Us #RETPositive

I fall in this category!!! It took 3 months to get my stage IV lung cancer diagnosis. Prior to my official diagnosis I was diagnosed with post viral cough, exercise induced asthma, pneumonia, etc. Totally unacceptable!

Just listened to my friend Samantha M on the ⁦⁦Young Lung Cancer Initiative⁩ podcast. Great talk about stage 4 HER2+ lung cancer. As researchers, we focus on protein-protein interactions. Important reminder about the impact of person-person interactions! youtu.be/WZDdg8j3pO8?si…
