Last night our first team overcame a good Golcar United A.F.C side. Not much split the two teams but in the end we managed to get a goal through the in form Nathan Brady and earn a hard fought victory in what was a physical game. Attention now turns to Saturdays game v Route One Rovers #LMDAFC

MATCHDAY Our 1st team travel to Bradford to take on Route One Rovers a team we played and beat only a week ago. Our reserves are back in action after a couple weeks off as we host Leeds City FC and if the table and the reverse fixture is anything to go off this should be a close game

A mixed day yesterday with many 2s filling in for 1st team & many 3s filling in for 2nd team 1s put up a dominant display against Route One Rovers to further cement themselves on the top 4 of the league Despite some good play, individual errors v Leeds City FC led to a defeat for 2s

Last night, a defensively disciplined display earned us a point against UFCA 💛🖤 We took the lead thanks to red-hot Brady and were so close to all 3 points before they equalised with an 89th minute header from a corner. We now sit 2pts behind 3rd with a game in hand. #LMDAFC

Yesterday was a truly historic day for the club as the Student team won NAMS in Liverpool, being crowned the best medical school in the UK. Not only that, but it was an all Leeds final with the Old Boys being the runners-up. The Leeds Women’s team were also crowned champions too!

Defeat in our last league fixture against Leeds Medics & Dentists AFC . A close game with a little bit of a pre-season feel settled with a fine long-range effort. The medics keeper made some great saves late in the game as we failed to score for the first time in the league all season #UTE

Today marks the last game of the season for our 2s. We will be playing Morley Town at home, a team we beat 5-2 last time out. It will also be Timpson’s last game for the open age teams. This is his 20th season with the club which is an incredible service to the club. #LMDAFC

Yesterday the 2s rounded off their season with a confident 4-2 win over Morley Town. Timpson converted a penalty on his last game for the club after 20 years and Kendall, Charlesworth and Wright were also on the scoresheet #LMDAFC

Our 1st team stepped up the new season preparations this evening with a pre-season friendly against West Yorkshire Prem runners-up Beeston St Anthony's. The match finished 1-1 with new signing Matthew Diaz-Rainey equalising with a fine finish to reward a strong 2nd half team performance.
