Prof Douglas Stewart (School of Civil Engineering) is our great Seminar Series speaker today @ 2pm (Worsley SR 9.58c): Using metagenomes from an organic-rich soil layer found beneath a chromium waste tip to infer metabolic potential that can be harnessed for site remediation.

RiP Seminar Two O'clock today (Worsley 8.34a and TEAMs). Tomasz Drobkiewicz (PI: Dr Eric Hewitt) will be talking on viral entry Proteomics, and Beth Soanes (PI: Prof Brendan Davies) on mechanisms for temperature-responsive alternative splicing of Arabidopsis flowering time genes.

Outstanding LeedsOmics Research Seminar today (22/04) @ 2pm, Worsley 9.57: Dr Jordi Solana (PI at the Living Systems Institute at the University of Exeter) will be talking on "Using single-cell transcriptomics and planarians to study stem cells, regeneration and their evolution".
