Such an honour to give a speech to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold Award participants yesterday at Holyrood Palace alongside HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. 👑 Pretty nervous giving a speech in front of so many people (and royalty!)... My heart rate was probably higher than during most of my races! 😅📈

It was an inspiring morning celebrating young people who’ve shown incredible commitment, resilience & passion to earn their awards. There are so many parallels between my journey in sport & the determination these young people have shown. Huge congratulations to all recipients!
