New in Global Change Biology, our meta-analysis lead by Carolin Dahms, on factors affecting marine fish range shifts. We find correlations between rate of temp change and pole-ward range shifts, with shifts most rapid for tropical, unexploited species: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.11… (1/3)

Today, after 2 years in the Binning lab, Maryane Gradito and Ariane Côté defended their masters theses back to back on how parasites affect pumpkinseed sunfish behaviour. So proud of them and can’t wait to witness the great things they’ll accomplish 💕 GRIL Biologistes-chercheur.es de l'UdeM

Many wild fish in Québec have parasites. Is this necessarily a bad thing? How can we limit the proliferation and spread of specific harmful parasites? 🐟🪱 To find the answers, read this short article co-written with Sandra Binning 🇨🇦🇺🇦 (GRIL, Université de Montréal) 🤓 👇👇
