Great work led by an amazing scientist ! Very proud of you Vincent Mélançon !!

When biologists meet electronics! Thank you Embedded Sergey🕊️ for leading this very instructive workshop ! #SEBECR

New paper just out in Global Change Biology showing that temperature can affect social behaviour 🌡️🐟 Definitely one of my favourite papers so far😁 onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/gc… #openaccess

New in Global Change Biology, our meta-analysis lead by Carolin Dahms, on factors affecting marine fish range shifts. We find correlations between rate of temp change and pole-ward range shifts, with shifts most rapid for tropical, unexploited species: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.11… (1/3)

Save the date! #SQEBC 2023 conference is happening Nov 3-5th Université de Montréal. Theme is Animal Social Networks with plenary talks by Meggan Craft @wildlifeevoeco @POMontiglio Info and registration here: tinyurl.com/bderne9c Biologie UdeM CSEE_SCEE CSBQ-QCBS Patrick Leighton CEF_CFR

Today, after 2 years in the Binning lab, Maryane Gradito and Ariane Côté defended their masters theses back to back on how parasites affect pumpkinseed sunfish behaviour. So proud of them and can’t wait to witness the great things they’ll accomplish 💕 GRIL Biologistes-chercheur.es de l'UdeM

🎉 We are excited to announce that Dr. Sandra Binning, Assistant Professor at Université de Montréal, is the recipient of the 2024 Stevenson Lectureship Award! Sandra Binning 🇨🇦🇺🇦’s lab studies the fascinating relationships among fishes, parasites & aquatic environments thebinninglab.com 🧵…

Happy to announce two PhD positions in fish ecophysiology 📣 Fully funded, fun fish temperature physiology, supervision by me, Shaun Killen, Natalie Pilakouta! Naturvetenskap/GU Please spread the word 🙏 web103.reachmee.com/ext/I005/1035/…

Thank you Canadian Science Publishing, very excited to share more of our work at the upcoming Society of Canadian Aquatic Sciences meeting!

Very proud to have the chance to be supervised by such an inspiring scientist! Congrats Sandra Binning 🇨🇦🇺🇦 for this very well deserved award 😊

Many wild fish in Québec have parasites. Is this necessarily a bad thing? How can we limit the proliferation and spread of specific harmful parasites? 🐟🪱 To find the answers, read this short article co-written with Sandra Binning 🇨🇦🇺🇦 (GRIL, Université de Montréal) 🤓 👇👇
