As a disabled person working full time and claiming PIP for aids and equipment enabling me to work attacks on PIP under the guise of tackling unemployment doesn’t make sense. - cut NHS wait times - reform ADHD assessment - improve housing and accessibility Before touching PIP

This is a seminal moment: a Labour government cutting disability benefits. Not just continuing Tory levels. Cutting. This comes after a week of speculation, itself an act of cruelty by a government toying with people’s dignity. These cuts are disgraceful - and will cost lives.

4 points in daily living activities is for care and supervision. Adult social services do not have the means to support an influx of PIP applicants applying for care. PIP would therefore need to be increased to pay for private carers. Costs are more than they wish to save

Around a million people will lose maybe £5,000 a year from these 'reforms'. The gainers will receive a pittance. This was not in Labour's manifesto. It is not the change people voted for. It is immoral.
