51 of our Year 10 & 12 Art and Photography students visited an autumnal Kew Gardens. Fortunately the weather was great for exploring colour, lighting, texture and patterns in the both the natural & man made environments. #LGSconfident #LGSadventure

The year 11 World of Work Insights Conference began our Focus Day with an assembly led by Learning to Work. It continued the programme of careers advice provided this year which has included mock interviews and workshops on potential career pathways. #LGSconfident

'9 History students spent the day at Imperial War Museum Duxford filming documentaries about developments in aircraft from World War One to the Cold War. The Battle of Britain hangar was a particular favourite! #LGShistory #LGSConfident

Year 7 took inspiration from Harry Potter & created new designs for the LGS houses. Each crest used house colours and also included a symbolic image related in some way to the history of the house name. Forms Clarke and Seymour produced the work today and were helped by year 12.

Year 9 spent Focus Day conducting a geographical investigation London. Students visited three contrasting development sites in Poplar, Canary Wharf and Greenwich Millennium Village to assess their sustainability. They also had the opportunity to practice their map reading skills.

Students from Year 9 spent an enjoyable day on Tuesday at Imperial War Museum Duxford with the History Department, looking at the development of aircraft from World War One through to the Cold War. #LGSConfident
