An end to a busy but enjoyable week! Between managing our onboard systems, I couldn’t resist jumping back behind the wheel as overtime. I just love driving! From shuttle duties for #DurhamCricket and the #BlaydonRaces to early morning scholars runs each day — it’s been great! 🚍

A new open-top service? It’d be rude not to try it while I’m here, and it didn’t disappoint! Took a trip on the brand new #SeaBreezer today from Southern Vectis. A fantastic ride along the coast through #Appley, such a brilliant way to explore this part of the Island! 🚌☀️🌊

Had a fantastic time supporting Southern Vectis at the #IsleOfWightFestival last week! Loved catching up with the team and selling/checking over 1,500 tickets each night across the 4 nights. Plus, I got to drive my oldest bus yet, built the same year as me! How cool is that? 🚌💚

Got treated to our rainbow bus for my shift this morning before heading into the office! It’s always a pleasure to drive a #Volvo B9, you just can’t beat them, especially when they look this good!! 🚌🌈🤩

Lights out & away we go at #Silverstone! Over the weekend, we supported First Travel Solutions with Park & Ride shuttles for the #F1 British GP. Huge thanks to our brilliant engineering teams, we couldn’t have done it without you! An unforgettable experience & team effort all round!🏎️🏁

From the bus stop to the starting grid, we brought the #F1 buzz onboard! Supporting First Travel Solutions at the British GP Park & Ride, we made the journey part of the experience with bespoke announcements. I had a blast creating them, and both passengers and drivers loved it! 🚌🏁🔊

Drove our eye-catching #Kynren bus for my first-ever Kynren event last night, what an experience! A brilliant team effort moving thousands to the show smoothly. I've even come away with exciting ideas to enhance our systems & improve customer experience… watch this space!🛡️⚔️🎆

Yesterday I drove a #Electroliner for the first time & tried electric mirrors. I was really impressed! Smooth ride, great new dashboard & the mirrors were game-changing. It’s clear this technology is the future! I’m excited to welcome (and drive!) our next electric buses soon⚡️🚌

A bank holiday well spent! Started by helping cover mileage at our #Sunderland depot, carried out system checks & repairs on several vehicles, then rounded off the weekend at the Seaburn Historic Vehicle Display, brilliant event seeing heritage and modern buses together! 🚌📸

Tonight I drove one of our fully electric Yutong Bus & Coach #E10 buses on our #VOLTRA 54 service. It’s not often I get to drive these, but every time I do, it’s a real pleasure, smooth, comfortable, quiet, and packed with plenty of tech. Definitely one of my favourites to drive! ⚡️⚡️
