We have had a fantastic first week at Lightcliffe Academy, including welcoming our enthusiastic Year 7 cohort on Wednesday. This week has also seen the launch of our 'Faster Read Friday' initiative, where students in all years are enjoying The Sniper by Liam O'Flaherty.

Lightcliffe Academy students and staff had an amazing experience at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London yesterday, where they were lucky to watch a performance of Wicked and have a personal Q&A session with the cast.

We have had the privilege to visit KPMG today with over 50 Y10 students where they have had the opportunity to experience life in the workplace. We are excited to welcome many more work experience opportunities throughout the year!
