Daniel Burritt Shockwave Medical Leigh Ann O'Banion UCSF Fresno I think what’s important is the patient outcome, not being a lesionologist trying to make the angio look better but improved perfusion to heal a wound. It’s about the patient, not the picture

👊🏾👍🏾BT Fisher Sr., MD Leigh Ann O'Banion Daniel Burritt Shockwave Medical UCSF Fresno Wound healed, ischemia resolved, limb saved. I think it is a triple win. I rather treat patient than the angio. A perfect angio may not safe the limb

Leigh Ann O'Banion Dejah Judelson (she/her) Daniel Burritt Viraj Pandit 👊🏾👍🏾BT Fisher Sr., MD Shockwave Medical UCSF Fresno I appreciate Leigh Ann O'Banion for NOT posting a “best case”. Most of us are guilty of Twitter selection bias where we only post dramatic “angio wins”, which distorts efficacy expectations. This procedure improved flow in a calcified artery and promoted healing- nicely done 👍🏻.
