Alert: we are on scene at a serious collision between an HGV and a car on the A17 at Boardsides, Wyberton Fen, reported at 9.53pm. Road closures are being put in place, please avoid the area. We will update when we can. Incident 488 of today.

Update: the A17 side of Boardsides, Wyberton Fen, just after Fountain Plant, remains closed this morning due to the clean up needed with oil spills on the road. This oil slick is around 50m long and people have tried driving around this; please adhere to the closure signs.
