After seeding for the PIAA Wrestling Championships, all four Line Mountain wrestlers will begin competition in the round of 16 beginning Thursday morning.

Brock Rothermel, 121, starts the state wrestling tournament for the 4 Eagle wrestlers with a 23-3 technical fall over Barrick of Big Spring.

At 145 pounds, freshman Nolan Savage drops a 7-3 decision to Householder of Brookville.

At 152 pounds, Daulton Schadel drops an 18-6 decision to Horvat of Derry.

At 172 pounds, Kohen Shingara drops a 7-0 decision. Boy this tournament is tough!

At 145 pounds, Nolan Savage with an 8-0 decision in the first round of the consolation bracket over Perrino of Greenville and advances to Friday.

At 152 pounds, Daulton Schadel with a 17-3 major decision in the first round of the consolation bracket over Koehler of Northwestern and advances to Friday.

At 172 pounds, Kohen Shingara drops a 4-1 decision in the first round of the consolation bracket to Lombardi of Palmerton.

At 121 pounds, Brock Rothermel with a 2nd period pin over Beck of Saegertown in the state quarterfinals and advances to Friday night’s semi-finals against top seed Gauge Botero of Faith Christian Academy.

At 145 pounds, freshman Nolan Savage picks up his second win of the tournament 4-1 over Messner of Berks Catholic.

At 152 pounds, Dalton Schadel drops a 7-2 decision to Hamilton of Grove City and is eliminated.

At 121 pounds, Line Mountain’s Brock Rothermel drops a 9-3 decision to Gauge Botero of Faith Christian. Brock will now have a chance for another bronze medal on Saturday.

At 121 pounds, Brock Rothermel loses 3-2 in the ultimate tie breaker to the SE regional champion and will now wrestle for 5th place.

At 121 pounds, Brock Rothermel fights back and decisions Homan of Hamburg 7-0 and will take home 5th in the State Wrestling Championships. Brock was 3rd as a freshman and now 5th with 2 more years to go to capture a state title titles.
