Will Smith, a Physiotherapist at Chorley & Royal Preston, recently completed our Healthcare Professional Placement Scheme. Will worked on the Manchester BRC-funded Rapid Access Diagnostics in Asthma (RADicA) study, which aims to develop new and better breathing tests to diagnose asthma.

Representing Manchester BRC at the MFT NHS annual Nursing, Midwifery, and Allied Health Professions Conference today. The event included presentations and poster displays celebrating this year’s theme of Leadership and Compassionate Culture.

Elizabeth Riley, an Advanced Clinical Practitioner at MFT NHS, recently completed our Healthcare Professional Placement Scheme. Elizabeth worked on a Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases Theme project on taping in knee osteoarthritis, which can be used to reduce pain.
