Still waiting for an update from Parks Canada on what structures have been affected by the Jasper wildfires other than JPL and Maligne Lodge. It has been raining all night/ morning in Hinton and near Jasper National Park, hopefully that has helped firefighters Global Edmonton

This was from last night right in Jasper National Park. It went pitch black for about two hours at 6 p.m. and then it was light again, before it started pouring rain instead of ash from wildfires

Jasper National Park says damage within the townsite is estimated at around 30%. Out of a total of 1113 structures within the town of Jasper, 358 have been destroyed. All critical infrastructure was successfully protected.
