Last night at our Council meeting I was asked for figures about homelessness in the Vale. Here are the challenging figures. Today I visited two of our nearly complete developments in Barry. Superb specification in these homes.

This week Vale Council 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇦 staff have volunteered at our Poppy stall. Yesterday The Mayor, Cllr Elliot Penn and I took a turn. Just on the card machine £840 has been raised with more in the donations tin. We will be open again on Monday if you’re coming to the Remembrance service.

The new earlier Cardiff Bus 94 to Barry is brilliant. It’s getting busier as more are aware. Today’s conversation topics: Bus routes/times, car parking, C&V UHB, GP appts, libraries.

Brilliant how many more people are choosing the first Cardiff Bus 93 to Barry since the route and timetable changes. Passengers today travelling to Ysgol y Deri/St Cyres, Llandough and Barry. Slight panic as it wasn’t on the tracker. Driver said he was in ‘stealth mode’ 🤣🤩
