The Little Rock Fire Department participated in a gathering as a token of appreciation to the Healthcare workers that keep us safe. We cannot thank you enough for what you do for us.

Truck 11 completes an early morning Apparatus check. This is a practice we do every morning to insure we are ready for anything at any time.

It is with tremendous sadness that we mourn the loss of retired Assistant Chief JT Cantrell. Chief Cantrell was an asset to not only the Little Rock Fire Department but to the entire City of Little Rock. He will be greatly missed.

May 4, 2020 is International Firefighters Day. It is a day to salute the men and women who keep us safe, protect our property and our communities... and to honor those who have given their lives in the line of duty. Thank you.

John Fulbright was the first member of the LRFD to test positive for COVID19. With antibodies in his blood, he is partnering with UAMS and the Blood Institute to donate plasma to help others. Engineer Fulbright has made a full recovery and will return to work later this week.

Little Rock firefighters work to extinguish a car fire on 1-30 East bound yesterday afternoon. No injuries.

It has been brought to our attention that an individual is taking donations on behalf of the Little Rock Fire Department. *Be advised that IT IS NOT OUR PRACTICE TO EVER SOLICIT DONATIONS TO BENEFIT THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT. Please share this post. Thank you.

We would like to give a BIG thanks to Hodge Fabrication Inc. for the time and materials they spent in the restoration of this bench that has been part of Fire Station #7 for 40+ years. The bench is believed to come from McAurthur Park.

Be advised that Station 24 has a brand new traffic signal installed and operating on Stagecoach Road near Baseline. Thank you for stopping when the light is RED so we can respond faster to those that need our help.
