The chess quarter finals are truly heating up, and it’s wonderful to see the concentration on the faces of our talented players! With each game, the excitement builds, and we are eagerly anticipating crowning the champion by Friday!

Semi-finals for the chess tournament are taking place. The first one has been concluded. Well done to all the children who have participated and are still going. It’s been fantastic to see them strategically navigate the boards.

The chess has come to a successful end. We had close battles in the semi finals, 3rd/4th play-offs and the final itself. All exciting games and well supported. We had an amazing 47 pupils take part from Y5/6. Congratulations to all of our chess players, they are to be applauded!

A wonderful whole school final assembly. Well done to all the Reading prize winners. Also saying a fond farewell to Year 6 and Mrs Stratfull. We will really miss you. Thank you to our school family for your hard work and dedication. Now off to the annual staff v Y6 rounders!
