My introduction to palliative care was through Chris Dare who was one of the 1st PC doctors in SA & a founder of St Luke' hospice #HPCACHAT

I am also in awe of the women of ICPCN - Joan Marston & Julia Downing They have travelled the world to improve children's care #HPCACHAT

I would say the most influential women in palliative care, is the nurses who continuously give beyond their means on a daily base #hpcachat

I have in mind a nurse assistant who sat at a patient's bedside signing hymns & lullabies until his family could get to hospice #HPCACHAT

and Joan Marston our global ambassador and committed advocate for children's palliative care #hpcachat
