Last week, I was honored to join the #BorlaugDialogue2024 by World Food Prize Foundation. I had the privilege of having insightful discussions with CGIAR key partners, including Akinwumi A. Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group, Ajay Banga, President of the ⁦ World Bank and Dina Esposito.

Participated in 3 dynamic sessions at #BorlaugDialogue2024: from preserving our world Farm Journal Foundation to advancing food security in Africa with RTB crops International Potato Center. Moderating “Passing Down Generational Knowledge” allowed me to share insights as a Zimbabwean cattle farmer. 🌱

It was amazing to connect with experts and thought leaders in the field 2024 Borlaug Dialogue, hosted by the World Food Prize Foundation, engage in meaningful discussions, share knowledge, and explore potential partnerships that can drive impactful change.🌎

The studies that demonized red meat had a problem: They lumped together: • Grass-fed steak • Processed hot dogs • Nitrate-filled deli meats • Fast food patties Then blamed all "red meat" when people eating processed junk got sick. That's like blaming fruit because donuts

Think about protein quality: Red meat gives you complete amino acids in the exact ratios your body needs. Plant proteins are incomplete and less bioavailable. Your body has to work harder to get the same building blocks from plants that it gets effortlessly from meat.
