Go read this. It’s a great review of what really is going on. These resignations are more about the governmental theology that they are the divine, than it being some kind of principled devotion to protecting “the science”

I was particularly appreciative of the perspective Aaron Everitt brought to the conversation on the perceived role of government agencies like the CDC and how the size and scope of their current responsibility conflicts with the founder's vision for our government.

This is worth the listen. Several Kennedy supporters sat down with some of the CDC folks that just resigned last week. It’s not easy to do this stuff, but it’s necessary to have cordial disagreements if we’re ever going to see a functioning government.
