Today, The Nelson Order for Teaching Excellence welcomed the Class of 2024 - 21 faculty inducted, 7 named Regions TEACH Prize finalists, and Dr. Joey Granger, @GradSchoolUMMC1, was named the Regions TEACH Prize Finalist & received the $10,000.00 prize from Regions Bank.

And 50% of our graduates will remain in Mississippi for their first year of residency training! Let’s be sure to make them feel welcomed.

Congratulations to Dr. Haynes on receiving the Hall of Fame Award and the Basic Science Professor of the Year Award and for being chosen by second-year students as having the best respiratory block of the year! Great job, Dr. Haynes!
