I’m thrilled to be here at the African Investigative Journalism Conference at Wits University this morning! Today I’ll be listening to a panel hosted by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who is talking about the topic of his undercover journalism work.

The session is kicking off with a talk from Edward Adeti on the widespread theft of medicine in Ghana, which he investigated in the last year.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas says going undercover is always the last line of journalism - the only option left when no other measures are resulting in evidence being found.

Attending a session at the African Investigative Journalism Conference on how women navigate the field of investigative journalism. Looking forward to learning from their journeys and insights on overcoming challenges. #AIJC2024 #InvestigativeJournalism
