we are still sort of floating at just a bit over halfway to the goal, so shares and traction of any kind are still massively appreciated! So, what now? On August 2nd I’ll be headed to LA to stay with someone for a month. During this month I’ll be job and apartment hunting!

one of my guiltiest confessions is that I’ve never played That’s Not My Neighbor I watched mani played it in vc for 20 minutes, said “ok I think I’ve got the idea” and then wrote a song

my big insane stupid guess is that Undertale happens between Ch 5-6 or 6-7 in a Dark World created over the whole of Hometown It CANNOT be a coincidence that the name of the song embedded in every inch of the OST is in Sans' lab . idk who tf chara and frisk are then though

the real answer to "how do you choose which ideas to make" is that i'm constantly in triage deciding what's: - doable - likely to succeed (whatever "success" means for it) - fun-sounding and for every one thing i make, there's probably 8-10 ideas i had to let go of to do it.

and the REAL real answer is that if you DON'T make these hard choices of what ideas you're NOT gonna make, you won't end up making ANYTHING. time's gonna limit you whether you want it to or not. the best fighting chance you have is to acknowledge that up front.

on a related note is some advice that hit me REAL hard: "Schedule time to take breaks, because if you don't decide when you're going to rest, your body will decide for you." and it will always, always pick the least convenient time.
