Today marks the 108th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, Canada’s part of the 1917 Anglo-French spring offensive. Please take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of the Canadian service personnel, especially those who never came home.

108 years ago today, at 5:30 a.m., all four divisions of the Canadian Corps fought together for the first time at the Battle of Vimy Ridge. On a cold Easter morning, they advanced through sleet and snow. #VimyDay #VimyRidge

This is, in my opinion, the most significant endorsement for Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party yet. Do your own research into the signatories and their respective companies. These are Canadian Titans who have, for decades, invested in our communities and help build our economy.

This deeply stupid move is going to make those of us in the media now question every single thing the Liberal War Room generates. Really, really stupid. #cdnpoli cbc.ca/news/politics/…

I'm walking the dog park without a dog..... Thinking about a message for those who haven't voted. Here's one of them. Share this everywhere.

Today is Election Day in Canada, cast your vote! Did you know, after six of the seven elections between Confederation in 1867 Sir John A. Macdonald was able to govern with a working majority in the House of Commons? Only in 1874 did the Liberals win a clear majority of seats.

A cloudy morning. The smell of saltwater. Waves crashing on the hull of the landing boats. Soldiers quiet – carrying the weight of Europe on their shoulders. We remember the brave heroes who risked everything when they landed on Juno Beach 81 years ago.

75 years ago today, Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King died. He is Canada's longest-serving PM (21 years) and many argue, our greatest. It is strange to think about how King gets so little recognition in our high school history classrooms and the public at large.
