How is this right? How is it that the same bloody tablet can vary so wildly in cost across one small section of a continent. I am astounded at these ludicrous rules for dog owners coming into the UK from the EU. This is bullshit and I want to talk to the manager please!

Any EU vets here that can explain why it's so much cheaper for pet care here? I once paid 40eur for an emergency, out of hours appt including treatment (injection & pills) in Italy. In UK that'd be £££s easily.
