Connection, purpose, kindness and feeling safe. That’s the goal. It also happens to be the bit that makes our jobs most rewarding. I’m often inspired by social care professionals who naturally focus on what really matters x

Our beautiful Zoe is off on maternity leave today. Thank you for everything you’ve given to our team and the people you supported over the last year. You’ve been an incredible asset and we have loved working with you. We’ll miss you but I know you’ll flourish as a mummy xx

The best thing about working with authentic integration is that my ‘support crew’ are people who share the vision from across organisations, regardless of job title and beyond team boundaries. Grateful for my tribe NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust SOA

"Change is an emotion not a list". To motivate & mobilise people for change, we must connect with emotions, through values. We have to elevate the socio-behavioural aspects of change/improvement to sit alongside the process-technical if we want sustainable results. TY Gapingvoid Culture Design Group

We need more health & social care professionals to care for older adults at home but this should not just be crisis intervention. We need more health promotion visits, a chance to build relationships before hard decisions are made, a chance to know what matters - that takes time!

Care home support service feeling the benefit of this multi organisational, collaborative approach. A personalised ‘bedside’ review, with wishes of patient heard, makes planning & creative solution finding more likely. Proactive, energised & ‘owning’ the challenge- well done all

At #CornwallDementiaConference enjoying Prof Banerjee. Stigma, myth that normal part of ageing, myth that nothing can be done… all cause inactivity in seeking and offering help. Must do more to cut the stigma and myths so we can really do more.
