There was a jolly inflatable polar bear next to our neighbour's front door. During the storm last week it popped and now it is just hanging there, deflated, like some kind of pagan winter sacrifice. Sums up 2024!

Our new bathroom is finished! We wanted to go for a rustic, deconstructed design... Joking. Of course we are nowhere near finished on anything in our new house. A complete refurbishment is NOT for the faint-hearted!

Hello world! I've been trapped in renovation hell (it's still ongoing but we're starting to see progress!) Last night though I went to the fabulous summer party awards for @womensprize with my lovely Mark Kelso team & celebrated the amazing shortlist & winners. A beautiful night!

Built the Jane Austen Lego set and she is CUTE! (Unlike our house renovation, it was an easy build with clear instructions and I didn't cry once...) I particularly like that the pictures on the wall are from Jane Austen's books and the Lego spoons used as piano pedals!

Don't use ParcelHero®. They will break your items, then say you put an incorrect address on it, then change their mind and say it was your fault to send a heavy parcel (when the weight was clearly stated). Then they'll take extra delivery fees without warning. Awful company.
