Norways largest newspaper, VG, where I work, has now taken great strides towards diversity. Schibsted news recently hired Sumeet Singh Patpatia as Global Head of Diversity. New journo hires are requiring diverse backgrounds. 2/3

There are more visible minorities in Norwegian newsrooms, but not nearly enough. How this translates into news stories is yet to be seen. But we have started to walk in the right direction. But I still haven’t seen many of those human touch stories I talk about in my paper. 3/3
