Being in the strike zone is necessary but less productive for pitchers. To minimize damage: • Steal strikes early with 3rd/4th pitches • Pitch backwards • Backdoor shapes for higher take rates • Throw a ball then tunnel a strike • Use seam effects for late movement

Building sketchy bike/skateboard ramps out of plywood and cinder blocks is more fun and will teach kids more about life than begrudgingly showing up to the 7th tournament of the summer all in an effort to keep up with the Joneses. I promise. Real fun is a lost art.

Once again, the guy who speaks what’s on everyone’s mind wins We all know the elite athlete that had all the physical traits in the world But had nothing going on between the ears If you asked them about their routine Or what they think in a big situation The answer

Understand this If you’re on a path to do something great Something nobody expected out of you A lot of people won’t “get it” They won’t understand why you’re different They think you’re strange because you’re not an NPC following the normie orders of the world

If someone is calling you out and trying to hold you to a high standard when you're not you shouldn't resent them, you should thank them Accountability isn't something you do to someone, it's something you do for someone Parents Teachers Coaches Players Clients Staff Everyone

Official Strength Debates The mass = gas myth leads to a lot of kids dirty bulking their way to 240+ and moving like absolute crap when they would have been better off at 200, 210, etc. Again, more so talking pitchers here and the goal weight completely depends on their height/frame.

There is an absolute epidemic of uneducated pitching coaches changing guys slot to fit a better “profile” Like wtf man You recruited a guy based on who he was BEFORE you got him, then you try and create some magic by just fucking him up? Seen so many guys lose Velo/get

Having a team dinner with no phones present will win you more games than an extra practice or strength/conditioning session Will not change my mind

Mass does not equal gas. [Lean] mass equals [potential] gas. Fat doesn't contract. It's about adding lean tissue, which can improve power output & relative strength...which only helps if you also maintain or improve movement efficiency.

I was always the "weird one." When I was a freshman in high school, I got lots of crap for it. Not so much as a senior. When I was a garbage freshman in college, I also got lots of crap for it. Not so much as a senior. Stay true to what you need to do to reach your goals,
