Loved being able to connect my expertise on Appalachian history to current events. Give The Lens a listen if you have a chance. Lots of great content on the public-facing work going on UNC History.

Not much of a self-promoter, but I'm excited to announce that I successfully defended my dissertation this morning. Thanks especially to my dissertation committee (Harry Watson, Kathleen DuVal Malinda Maynor Lowery William Barney, and Laura Edwards) and UNC History
