Chris Eubank Jr wore a rainbow armband for the weigh-in before his fight with Liam Smith on Saturday 🌈 The pro-LGBTQ symbol was in response to the homophobic taunts he faced from Smith during their pre-fight news conference. #BBCBoxing

Mike Bradwell: another age, when theatre companies were made in council houses & new writing went from script to stage without months of development in between. If you haven't read The Reluctant Escapologist, you're missing an epiphany. Fare forward, Falstaff of Shepherd's Bush

ABIGAILS PARTY Royal Exchange Theatre is wonderful. Properly great night out. I love the play and find it absolutely heart breaking every time I come across it, this is no exception.

Some absolute gold in the new National Theatre season. I fucking love so much that they're touring to schools and colleges after doing it at the NT. whatsonstage.com/news/national-…

Wonderful night The Lowry last night for the 25th anniversary. Amazing new immersive Lowry installation and then my pals Not Too Tame show with young folk GODS OF SALFORD reminding me why I do theatre. Beautiful stuff.

So proud of Middle Child becoming a resident company at the National Theatre. I can't stress how much they are the good guys. They care about people so deeply. Everything from their work, to process, to structures is about others. Couldn't be happier for them.

On this day 40 years ago, 56 Bradford City and Lincoln City supporters went to a football match and never came home. We will never forget those who lost their lives in the Valley Parade Fire Disaster, and we stand with everyone who continues to be affected to this day. Forever
