Interspeech2023 is happening in Dublin this summer. And we will have a special session on the Neural Processing of Speech and Language! You can submit a 4-page paper until the 1st March (paper update deadline 8th March). interspeech2023.org/special-sessio…

Glad to introduce our work on Nature Human Behaviour. It was inspired by Griffiths Computational Cognitive Science Lab's earlier work on risky choices and is a new type of “comprehensive exploration” model that tries to simultaneously reveal all the mechanisms affecting the memory of a pattern.

Big congrats to Huihui Huihui Zhang on the exciting collaboration and tremendous efforts! Memory reactivation, serial dependence, feature-specific, all in a single paper:-)

Fresh at SFN! Welcome to our three posters today, UU5, DD5, and VV5! All are new directions in the lab, about 2D hierarchy neural geometry in auditory WM, serial dependence and WM, active forgetting and neural oscillation. Welcome!

Excited to share our new collaborative MEG/EEG work with Nai Ding on working memory hierarchy! We show reorganization of 1-D complex sequence into 2D neural geometry in WM. Congrats to Ying Fan ! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Save the date! The first in-person FLUX workshop on MEG data analysis is happening this June at the University of Birmingham 🎉

Our new work on eLife about linking cognitive maps across features in sequence WM to facilitate information compression. Congrats to Qiaoli Huang Love the graph design by eLife digest!

Traditional knowledge network learning relies on 'inefficient' random-walk. We developed a novel "compressive learning" approach by embedding higher-order network properties into pre-learning pathway, akin to building a skeleton to better house inputs. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Thrilled that our design becomes the NHB feb cover image! !! Folding fan = 1D-2D memory reorganization. Idea by Huan Luo, Calligraphy by Nai Ding. Poem by QuYuan (300bc) (question about the universe).

Finally accepted in PLoS Biology! The most clear neural evidence I have seen for serial dependence - past decision is reactivated to first repel then integrate current information. journals.plos.org/plosbiology/ar…
