A couple of terrific 2007 #MargaretRiver predominantly #Cabernet 🍷 #wines & also quite different. The Woodlands is soft & smooth w/ lovely fruit & now fully mature. The Vasse Felix #Heytesbury is a powerhouse, w/tremendous grip. Still a babe w/ 20-30 years ahead of it. Superb!

Another brilliant #semillon from Chris Tyrrell - this time the 2005 Vat 4 Stevens - perfect acidity with great line & length - With thanks to the #Stelvin screwcap, this wine still has easily 10-20 years ahead of it. Brilliant!

The 2nd of our epic trio of 2014 South African Chardonnay’s tasted! Lovely vanilla oak on the nose - reveals a wine that’s crisp & fresh, while being rich & creamy (some malo perhaps). It’s well balanced & the oak delivers added depth & complexity. 4.5* drink next 1-2 years.
