Joined Aurora party in KO14WW. This is how signals sounded on 2m today. Was able to get answer from some of these stations. Using only handheld ELK and IC705.

Although thanks to IO-117 and KH6WI Ham Radio I was able to work KH6 from my balcony before, but on HF using IC705 and mag.loop it was "mission impossible". Until WPX CW. Thanks to 20m operator at #NH7T I was able to break that "spell" on Hawaii ! Occasional activity 150 Q.

Without IO-117 it took me very long 10 months to increase VUCC from 670 to 700 ๐Ÿฅณ! How long it will take to get 750 ? Or may be I should stop here๐Ÿ™„?

Very useful information if you use a single non-duplex radio for satellite communication (e.g. IC 705, like me). BTW, I think the numbers will probably change in the future.

1048z pass TNX FT4 QSO BA1PK. Although it was max 1.2 deg. it was nice QSO using ELK+IC705 @ 5W. Looks like FT4 is good alternative to CW for DX QSO even if using limited setup e.g. only 1 radio without duplex.
