My 14 year old starts their GCSE course(s) in September. I’m hoping it includes a lesson on how to replace a roll of toilet paper when you’ve finished it.

Just asked 18 year old daughter, while we’re out, if she happens to have tweezers in her bag. She gives a snort of derision as she says “no, course not”. <pause> She adds: “I do have some eyelash curlers”.

Earlier this evening an XL Bully jumped a fence and attacked a man in my local park. Partially witnessed by my son. Man was bitten badly in several places including his abdomen. Police and ambulance came, but it took an hour. Horrifying. The owner grabbed his dog and legged it.

ADHD math is having 5 mins spare before you have to leave and thinking you can use it to clean the kitchen and mow the grass.

I never listen to audio books (ADHD means I take in more if I read) but decided to try audible version of The Club on the Edge of Town by Alan Lane and… listened to whole thing in 4hrs45mins straight. Amazing book, personifies how the personal is political. Beautifully read.

Apparently I just got the last bottle of my #ADHD meds that my local pharmacy had; due to the medication shortage they won’t be able to order in any more for anyone for at least a week or two. Great way for the country to celebrate #ADHDAwarenessMonth🤨

It’s my birthday and a great present is that I’m finally able to get my #ADHD medication today after the national shortage meant I haven’t been able to for well over a month.

Enjoyed Macbeth but it came with an unexpected mystery - what happened to the third witch? She disappeared in the 2nd half and didn’t make the curtain call. Hope she’s OK.
