My pup loved her ball so much. She came to visit me in a dream that wasn't - it was so real & undreamlike - exactly a month after she passed. We played in our garden in the Autumn sunshine with her ball just like old times. I think she came back to show me how happy she was.🥰

It's such a visceral, powerful thing that can't be fought off, but accepted as the sign that this soul was such a big part of you that nothing is the same afterwards. And learning that that's ok... as it's a sign of how much they mean to you that they can't be replaced.
