@RMatthewsPsyEdu Iโm very happy to discuss #safematernitycare with anyone from any political party: 1st point of call for The Green Party would be to read the Independent Maternity Review NUH Trust reports into Shrewsbury & Telford: the APPG BirthTrauma report where 1300 women gave evidence & โInvisibleโ by Baroness Gohir OBE

More incredible ground breaking work on the long term health inequalities of bereaved parents by our Trustee Claire Storey & team

Know anyone with a place in the 2025 #LondonMarathon? Would they run for Mothers for Mothers to make an impact to women and their families experiencing #MaternalMentalHealth and emotional wellbeing needs? Lots of support and no minimum sponsorship. Get in touch for more info.

On what is in some ways the hardest day of my year but in other ways the most positive, as we release the latest report from the MBRRACE UK confidential enquiries into maternal deaths and morbidity, it is important we recognise the families and friends of the women who have died

MBRRACE UK By learning from these women's deaths we will improve care and prevent deaths in the future, which is the positive action to take away from the day. Thank you to all the volunteer midwives, doctors and nurses who have assessed women's care, lay summary writers and MBRRACE UK staff

In the Q&A we hear from Munira Oza from The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust reflecting on the lived experience of ectopic pregnancy and their support services buff.ly/4gST5EF
