Join us on Wednesday evenings @ 7:30pm Eastern for a series of discussions on research in progress on #wwii #ww2 #sww with Kara Irvin, Bryon Greenwald, Bradley J. Nichols, Maggie Elmore, @Run4History, Dr Matthew Hefler, Paulette Pepin, Cindy Brown. Readings distributed 2 wks prior.

It's so great to be back at the U.S. National Archives in College Park! In addition to doing some work for my day job, I'm excited to dig into Constabulary records for the article I'm writing for the Second World War Research Group group.

I spent today polishing my Triangle Institute for Security Studies presentation. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone and learning about new, exciting research being done.

Our 1st 2024 reading group session for work in progress is 7 February @ 7:30pm Eastern w/ Ashley Vance, PhD (History at TAMU) on "Successful Obsolescence: The US Zone Constabulary in Occupied Germany, 1946-1952." Email [email protected] for reading and links!

I'm excited for #SMH2024 to get underway! If you're SMH Historians planner isn't full, I'm on two roundtables: Friday afternoon w/CMH historians discussing contracting and Sunday morning w/Adam Seipp and Peter Johnston discussing NATO in West Germany. See you there!

Before you leave #SMH2024 tomorrow, don’t forget to join me, Adam Seipp, and Peter Johnston at 10:30 for a lively discussion on NATO in West Germany during the Cold War!

What do 6 years, 4 amazing committee members, 2 dedicated grad buddies, and 1 global pandemic make? The honor I get in sharing that I have successfully defended my dissertation for a PhD in Military History @tamu under the guidance of Adam Seipp!

Anybody w/Second World War Research Group know of a list of code names for WWII leaders? It'd help us out a lot!

I couldn't be prouder of my great friend Jonathan Carroll Ph.D. for getting this book off the ground (pun intended)! I can't wait to get my physical copy when it publishes in the spring.

New Episode! We chat with Jonathan Carroll (Jonathan Carroll Ph.D.) about Irish Rugby, grad study at History at TAMU, teaching at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Buc-ee's Beaver, and his book Beyond Blackhawk Down-Enjoy!
