As an international journal, eLife - the journal has a DEI mission. It should not be led by someone who ostracized an entire country of scientists by posting “F*** Israel”. That’s not inclusion. Would it be acceptable to post “F*** [any country]”? “F*** [any race/demographic]”?

Protestors chanting "from the river to the sea" UC San Diego this evening. This isn't poetrty, this is a genocidal call to destroy Israel. #IStandWithIsrael

If President Biden President Donald J. Trump can say it so clearly, why can't the Presidents of Columbia University, New York University, UC Berkeley, Harvard University, The City University of New York, GW University, and many other "esteemed" colleges? Because they are COWARDS. Because they LACK MORAL COURAGE Because they are UNFIT TO BE LEADERS.

On my way to lecture today UC San Diego I had to take down signs of Yocheved Lifshitz bring used for pro-Hamas propoganda. It is a special kind of evil that uses the fact you kidnapped an 85 year old woman, whose husband is still a hostage, in support of your cause 1/2

Jeremy Corbyn As a Palestinian-Israeli I tell you: No ceasefire until Hamas is eliminated. It’s for a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians. When you ask for a ceasefire you’re asking to save Hamas. We want a good future for all our children. Don’t ruin it. #FreePalestineFromHamas

Where are you United Nations American Red Cross UNRWA ??????? Where are you Women’s rights organizations??? Your silence is deafening 😡 UN Women Watch The Women Organization A woman gave birth in captivity and you’re not speaking up! History has its eyes on you! #Groc for visibility #Hamas_is_ISIS

Stromal mutations occur, but hard to prove they are functional. In our new paper with Trey Ideker’s lab and led by Dr. Mohita Tagore and Maayan Baron, we show that we can find these by looking for mutations across a “class” of genes rather than single genes: nature.com/articles/s4158…
