The University of Washington primate center has welcomed 4 directors over the last 5 years. Each one presiding over gross animal welfare violations. The only solution is to SHUT IT DOWN.

What role does the presence of simian varicella virus, Herpes B, valley fever and/or chagas infections among the macaques play in halting incoming shipments University of Washington ?

The excruciating fear and terror that monkeys feel when ripped from their homes in Asia and Mauritius, boxed up and crammed into the cargo holds of Ethiopian Airlines is palpable. The zoonotic disease threat is real. Scott Taylor isn’t letting people forget!

Thank you Sharif Hassan for shining a megawatt spotlight Charles River Labs primate importation pipeline that funnels diseased, distressed, wild-caught monkeys around the globe. Long-tailed macaques die, public health is jeopardized and science is compromised.

All macaques deserve to live among the trees with their troop. Alpha Genesis only sees $$$$ when looking at these monkeys.

Thousands of macaques imported by Charles River Labs from Cambodia. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and U.S. Department of Justice are investigating alleged wildlife trafficking and now the scientific community is speaking up. Shut down the primate importation pipeline.

Another present for University of Washington incoming president.

The door needs to be shut on Alpha Genesis immediately . Those monkeys endured excruciating deaths. "Some of the monkeys died quickly, but others were still breathing and lying unresponsive on their sides, according to the witness."

"It’s time we stopped thinking of NHP research as something of value and recognize it for what it is: a practice that future generations will...look back on with incredulity and regret." New AMA Journal of Ethics piece I penned with Donya Mand. journalofethics.ama-assn.org/article/respon…

Macaques can’t file flight plans and don't attend press conferences (yet)—but thanks to AviationSource, their story gets out. His reporting makes sure SmartLynx Airlines can’t hide what it’s flying: terrified, sometimes sick monkeys caught in a brutal global trade.
