Is eating fish the same as taking fish oil capsules? Effectiveness of Omega 3 supplementation (fish oil capsules) in reducing risk of AMD diagnosis or slowing progress of AMD is inconclusive at this stage. We recommend eating oily fish if possible.

Eye injections are not a cure for AMD, but a treatment. They are provided to slow the progression of AMD and preserve vision. It is important that you follow your ophthalmologist’s advice regarding injection time intervals to ensure the best health for your eyes.
