How do spatial eco-evolutionary processes shape phenotypic plasticity at the range edge?! Co-lead david lerner, myself and an ~incredible~ team of co-authors wrote a new perspective piece out now! 👇👇 🎉🥳🍾🪩

Excited to share a new preprint from my PhD chapter with Amy Angert! Here, I use experimental evolution to test how selection from a spatial temperature gradient alters the eco-evolutionary dynamics of range expansion. Happy to chat about results! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to share a preprint for my 1st PhD chapter with Amy Angert Nathalie Isabelle Chardon (she/her) Kavya Pradhan & Janneke Hille Ris Lambers. We test for demographic lags and microclimatic buffering as drivers of apparent range stasis under climate change.

In case anyone is still on Twitter to see this (?), I'm really excited to be starting a lab at the University of Toronto University of Toronto EEB in July 2024! For more details, see here: freedman-lab.ca.

Very excited that my first ever paper is out now, with Amy Angert and Takuji Usui | 薄井拓路! Using duckweed, we examined how R*, a resource-acquisition trait that represents competitive ability, varies across temperatures and genotypes 🦆🍃 besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…
