Incredibly honoured! Thank you Cosmos! Happy International Women's Day to the phenomenal women I am privileged to work with Functional Materials and Microsystems, MetaOptics, RMIT Research, Women in STEMM Aust, STEMSisters.

We showcase MetaOptics and Functional Materials and Microsystems latest work - using light to selectively and sensitively detect glucose in liquid. This patented tech offers immense potential for non invasive glucose sensing! It is also miniaturised, Bluetooth enabled and runs off a battery.

Thanks to all the expert speakers who participated in our 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 - 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 seminar yesterday. If you missed this useful and lively discussion, the recording is now available on our website: womeninstemm.au/events/menopau… Department of Industry, Science and Resources

Thank you @biomelb for bringing over 500 of us together at the annual lunch to share, network, inspire and collaborate! Bonus -connecting again with the two amazing co-founders Dr Marguerite Evans-Galea AM and Michelle Gallaher of Women in STEMM Aust and have my cup filled with positivity! #biomelbwomen

🎉We are turning 10 this year! We're looking to partner with organisations that are committed to STEMM diversity & leadership. If you'd like to help inspire and support women in STEMM, get in touch - [email protected]

Women in STEMM Australia was the first of it's kind in 2014 - NFP advocacy group for women in much under-represented STEMM fields. Celebrating 10 years since the inception of Women in STEMM Australia, Dr Marguerite Evans-Galea AM and Michelle Gallaher reflected on their story: womeninstemm.au/about/#ten-yea…

“These materials could go a long way in futuristic flat-optics devices that can replace technologies with traditional lenses for environmental sensing applications – making them ideal for use in drones and satellites" - Madhu Bhaskaran, MetaOptics aumanufacturing.com.au/vanadium-oxide…

We have enjoyed reflecting and reminiscing this week as we celebrate our organisation's 10th birthday! Look out for our new initiative STEMM Strolls to be announced soon! To ally/partner or sponsor, please reach out on [email protected]
