A new era in Provo 👀

1 year ago, in his introductory press conference, Kevin Young said… “I want to make this place, the best place in college basketball to prepare young men to play in the NBA.” Tonight, Egor Demin was taken 8th overall by the Brooklyn Nets. Keep stacking.

Egor is special. Not because of what he can do with a basketball in his hand but who he is as a person. This picture is from one of his first practices at BYU. He wanted to know who everyone was and what they did. That was important to him. The Brooklyn Nets got a good one.

First NBA draft is in the books (here's to many more to come!) So happy for this guy, no one deserves it more.

One more Egor post: When Coach Young was hired last year, he said he wanted to make BYU the best place to prepare players for the NBA. Our whole team was all in, and my focus on every single graphic I made this year was simply this: to make our guys look like NBA guys. Cont.⬇️
