Day 26 of #Museum30 is #handle One of the more challenging parts of our work comes with handling the specimens. When we have to move or clean them we need to think about pesticides alongside the potential damage from movement. That means lots of PPE required!

#Museum30 Day 27 - Discovery I discovered a love for repetitive museum work during my placement photographing insects trapped within resin for a researcher Oxford University Museum of Natural History and now I get to spend lots of my day split between cleaning up data and researching interesting ceramics!

#Museum30 day 28 - Hope For todays prompt I’ve gone with Claire Curneen’s incredible porcelain diorama that I was captivated by on a visit to the V&A earlier this year. I can only hope to one day make something a fraction so beautiful in my own pottery work.
