My Face Behind the Voice in next week's Radio Times out now is Carla_Greene of BBC Humberside. I told her we can never be sure who's reading this so I'll state here that she wants to report on the 2028 Olympics. 🫰
Unless you live in Paisley, you may not have come across paisley_radio but that's what Face Behind the Voice in Radio Times is for. Their rep is definitely this Rachael Smith, not another Rachael Smith, also from Paisley, also a radio presenter! I bet she can't milk a cow.
In next week's Radio Times out now read about a soap opera created by Jason Rosam of Riverside Radio. It starts Sunday. Jason used to be on my old station BBC Radio London. #DanDraper #JamesFritz #Theatre503
In next week's Radio Times out now I chat to big time radio fan James Hanson of LBC. He played at radio as a kid and went to Leeds Uni because of its student radio station! What a nerve I've got to test him on his knowledge of British prime ministers. But the boy done good.
A veteran DJ David Andrews joins a new station Nation Classic Hits. My chat with him is in next week's Radio Times out now. He's been around.
In next week's Radio Times out now I chat to Durham Diva Sue Sweeney who has 2 shows on Durham OnAir. Her worst moment - making imaginary ice cream - is a classic.
Good fun talking to Kaz Ay about The Heavy Rock Show on East London Radio. It all happened because of Ian Chambers FRSA. I read thru this interview and it made me want to listen. And I don't even like heavy rock.
Nice chat in next week's Radio Times out now with Ben Atkinson of Heart. In my uncut version he admits to some of the acts he mispronounced. Can you guess them? Ben also does fab work at The Podcast Coach. Don't set up a podcast without him.
I chat to another hot shot radio presenter, Lydia rodford of Capital, in next week's Radio Times. Maybe she'll have some big news soon. I couldn't possibly comment.
Pretty exciting interview with Mark Simpson in next week's Radio Times out now. Mark's a radio bigwig with major achievements at BBC Radio 2. We had to cut so many of his credits from this chat. Now he's also on community station Petersfield's Shine Radio actually putting needles on records!
The Face Behind the Voice in next week's Radio Times is mary mandefield who presents the overnight show on Hits Radio and is also on HIts Radio Chilled weekdays. Her worst moment is one of my favourites!
Next week's Face Behind the Voice in Radio Times is Stu White, who's on Rotherham Radio AND Doncaster Radio. Read all about his 3 budgies, taking a radio station off air, and doing pretty well with no qualifications!
Splendid chat in next week's Radio Times with Eddie Shaw presenter on new station Lincs Sound and big cheese at BoomRadioUK. Your RT might have BBC Strictly ✨ star La Voix on the cover. She was the 1st person I interviewed for this feature...don't ask when.
Fun chat in next week's Radio Times out now with Mylo & Rosie Show, currently BBC Radio 1's supply teachers...and part-time toilet cleaners? (Read on). Incidentally if you type Milo & Rosie here you'll get 2 beagles.
Next week in Radio Times I chat to Iain Meadows in the far north of Scotland on Radio Wester Ross, also on V2 Radio and probably more. Is there a presenter you'd like to see interviewed in this feature? Send me their names and I'll chase 'em up.
Great chat in next week's Radio Times with Welsh singing star B R O N W E N also new presenter of the morning show on BBC Radio Wales. She's done so much! Thanks for all your suggestions for presenters you'd like me to interview. Keep 'em coming!
The Face Behind the Voice in next week's Radio Times is Kamilla Rose of Capital XTRA. Renewed thanks to everyone who's sent me suggestions for presenters to interview. We now have enough to take us up to Christmas!
