Yesterday, our 1st team went top of div 2B TVCL at this beautiful ground. Today, at the other end of their cricketing journeys, the U11s are home and the U7s are across town at at Boyne Hill CC. Very different levels, same love for the game. 🏏 #cricketforall

September is here and the final rounds of the TVCL are today. Another glorious summer approaches its end. Good luck to all our teams today, especially all four sides chasing promotion!

Congratulations to our 1s, champions in div 2A TVCL and promoted back to div 1 for 2025, and to our 4s team, promoted to division 7. And also to our U13s, Berkshire champions for 2025! It’s been an incredible season at MBCC, well done to everyone at every level. 😀 #forthestag

It is with profound sadness that The Yorkshire County Cricket Club announces the passing of Harold Dennis “Dickie” Bird MBE OBE, one of cricket’s most beloved figures, who died peacefully at home at the age of 92.

So sad to hear of the passing of one of the great characters of the game, and of course a good friend of our own former President Sir Michael. Our thoughts and best wishes go to his friends and family.
